This is the model I waited for almost forty years for! I wanted a 1:18 Die Cast model of the Turbine Car since I first knew there were 1:18 Die Cast models. About two years ago, it finally appeared. Yat-Ming and the Road Legends/Signature series produced a very fine model. This is not perfect but close. The color is good, the detail is very good. The hubcaps and tires are the biggest boo-boo the company made. The Turbine Car has unique tires and paint on part of the hubcaps. The model has extra-wide 50's white wall tires while the actual car had 1" white walls with a distinct turbine pattern molded into them. The hubcaps on the model are almost all painted bronze while the real caps had just a bronze ring around the turbine styled cente casting. Enough about the mistakes - let's look at the model - they did so much right!

Hop in - let's go for a ride. Well it looks like you could almost get in and go.
